8/08/2005 - Added an affiliate, the Fakir Fan Listing. [ Old News ]
This is the official The Anime Fanlistings Network approved fanlisting for Princess Tutu. A fanlisting is a single place for all the fans of a particular subject to list themselves, and you can find more at the Network, which lists all of the fanlistings for all of the subjects that have been approved. As for Princess Tutu, it's the 26-episode anime that aired from August 2002 to May 2003. It consists of two seasons of thirteen episodes each; however, beginning with episode 14, each episode after (except for the last episode) was split into two and each part aired by itself. The show was produced by HAL, and spun off a manga series; however, the manga does not follow the anime storyline closely. The series has been licensed by ADV for release in North America; as of May/2005, the first DVD volume of five episodes has been released.

About
Princess Tutu is a mahou shoujo anime which begins with the story of a storyteller who died...leaving his story about the prince and a monster raven unfinished. The prince and the monster raven were locked in an eternal battle, until they finally decided to fly out of the story, where the prince sealed the monster raven away with his heart.
Now, in a small town where animals are a natural part of daily life, there is a young girl named Ahiru (...which means "duck") who has a crush on one of the students at her ballet school, Mytho. He happens to be considered a prince, but his eyes are so sad and he seems lost. Ahiru wants to help him smile again, but does he need her to? He's already paired with the most best dancer in school, the lovely but untouchable Rue, and his best friend is the equally cold Fakia.
However, whether Ahiru likes it or not, the story has already begun to move, courtesy of the dead storyteller Drosselmeyer, and in order to help the prince, Ahiru can no longer just watch the events occur, but will have to take part in them herself...[For more information, visit A Sorta Fairytale.]
